Role Details Business, Location: PT, China Role: Technology Manager, PT China Reports to: Head of Sales - PT China Direct Reports: N/A Primary Purpose: Work with the sales team to identify, develop and win new business with emphasis on target markets. Also, work with strategic accounts, both research and HVM, to understand future process requirements, in alliance with the relevant PM. Undertake sample demos for new business and work with strategic customer on process development. Key Responsibilities 40% Technical sales with an aim to develop business in key and strategic areas, including interaction with Product Managers, event participation, conferences and customer presentations. 60% Technical sales to support technical discussions with customers, support the field. application to execute on projects, undertake customer/wafer demos and perform on-site training. To be an equal partner to the OIPT China sales team to help formulate (technology-based) sales plans to execute on the company strategy. Support sales to determine the strategic and target accounts in the regions and key markets/ segments, with an aim to successfully penetrate and develop the accounts and generate repeat orders for the company. Create and present technical presentations at customers sites, on webinars and at seminars/workshops Work with/alongside process install teams at strategic accounts Report, inform and explain current and future process requirements in the regions and strategic-key markets/ segments/ accounts for both research and HVM to the relevant PM’s, with an emphasis on the segments that have potential to move into HVM. Act as a technical account manager for OIPT specified accounts, supporting the sales/ product/ process and service teams to develop the OIPT offering up to HVM requirements. Indicative Performance Measures New tool, technology and account penetrations into the market and individual customers Overall business growth into target markets Person Specification – Essential requirements unless stated Education / Qualifications: A relevant science or engineering degree. Physical/Chemical or EE engineering. Significant experience of the semiconductor industry or relevant experience in an academic institution, ideally in compound semiconductors Professional Skills/ Abilities : Personal Qualities: Abilities Excellent written and oral communication. Thin film measuring skills (e.g. SEM) Skills General deposition or etch experience, if have below three processes capability, that will be better. Ion Beam (Deposition and / or etch) Deposition: PECVD, ICP-CVD and ALD Etch: RIE, ICP, ALE Qualities Plans effectively in order to meet business objectives. Plans own time to maximum effect, Highly innovative and good lateral thinking skills for identifying opportunities for technology development applications. Willingness to take on responsibility. Willingness to travel 50% stay in Lab for demo and 50% travel for Field acceptance. #LI-TJ1
