For VOCS, we're looking for you as a Legal Counsel. Legal Counsel Legal Counsel Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and daily legal support. Recommend strategies to the Voith Group companies in China and other APAC countries; Foresee and protect the Voith Group companies in APAC against legal risks; Review, draft and negotiate contracts and commercial agreements; Ensure compliance with appropriate corporate governance practices; Coordinate litigation matters and supervise and manage outside counsel; Provide advices in addressing employment-related issues. Corporate Governance Issues, management of legal entity registration and deregistration in China. Provide Compliance trainings, participating in compliance case investigations and disciplinary actions. Lead or participate in global initiatives or projects. Requirements: A master or above degree from a top tier law school Fluency in English on both speaking and writing. 5+ years’ experience in a corporate legal department or a law firm focusing on corporate issues Excellent negotiation skills; The ability to work independently and creatively; Travel to Voith Operation Units at Shanghai and other cities is required.
