MAIN RESPONSABILITIES Drive on-cycle project quality activities for welding parts for all projects delivered in the country/cluster. Manage Industrial Quality activities in relevant workshop (IQ + process + KPI). Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework. Participate or delegate customer joint Inspections. Participate to process FMEA definition. Build, implement & regularly update Quality Control Plans with REX of previous project execution. Ensure customer approval, documents validation & compliance of the manufactured products before shipping. Work closely together with operation to support that quality is built in to the product from the start. Needs to act a coach to operations. Needs to lead the production line quality control and non-destructive test; needs to support the cells in implementing, managing and improving all quality relevant elements, such as product quality requirements, the process preparation, in process preparation, in process control, feedback/feed forward, and quality process management. Perform, participate to inspections of products (Customer joint inspections included if applicable). Manage problem solving. Perform Line Quality Animation with cross function team. Support Site Quality Manager in other critical assignments in coordinating and leading the quality activities Drive on-cycle project supplier quality activities for welded commodities for all projects delivered in the country/cluster. Monitor quality during the development phase of the supplier's product/process and ensure compliance with Alstom requirements. Is responsible of the Go/NoGo decision for “Go Production”, “Go for First Train Validation” and “FAI”, relying on inputs from Engineering for the product validation. Contribute to the solving of critical non-conformities and issues with suppliers, including warranty issues when escalated. In charge of Non Conformity problem solving until FAI Go and handover performed. In charge of preparing the first deliveries requirements for incoming inspection Participate in the company's continuous improvement programs (APSYS). MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES Educational Requirements / Experience Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electromechanical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent Must be able to understand technical documentation of the scope. Fluent in English and Chinese. Desirable: Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools. Experience Describe the knowledge and experience required for this role Mandatory: Min 5 years experience within manufacturing industry or in a Quality role or in a Project role; Min 3 years experience in Railway industry Familiar with required quality system such as ISO9001 and IRIS etc, IWE or IWI qualification a “plus” Desirable: Project management or equivalent. Quality inspection experience within manufacturing industry. Experience with typical products used and their defect modes Quality professional background with knowledge of quality tools (PFMEA, control plan, QRQC, 8D, Quality Wall, etc.). Competencies & Skills Technical mastering of railway products. Familiar with NDT knowledge, including VT, RT, UT, MT and PT for weld, NDT qualification is a “plus” . Ability to work in a matrix organization. Leadership, able to communicate with business partners . Able to work under high-pressure strength.
