Description AmCham China hosts 39 industry-based and function-focused forum and committees. The forums and committees are led by AmCham China’s senior member representatives with support from the coordinators to help realize their agenda in advocacy, learning, business development and professional community building. As part of the Member Operations team, coordinators usually support 4 to 6 Forums and Committees, and will collaborate across all the other teams of the Chamber, e.g. Government Affairs, Membership, and Marketing and Communications, to drive the success of the Chamber’s programs. Coordinators may sometimes perform duties assigned by the management team. Responsibilities Facilitate AmCham’s Forums and Committees for advocacy, industry development and community engagement Support F&C leadership to drive and maintain each F&C’s blueprint and accordingly develop and execute annual work plans Coordinate regular working group activities, including regular meeting, events, outreach, and other gatherings Compile and analyze industry-specific information and work with the policy team on advocacy activities Set up and maintain F&C databases and distribution lists. Support the design and execution of AmCham’s general thought leadership, branding, operational and community engagement events For general events and those related to F&Cs covered, track event registration and payment, prepare receipts before events and issue fapiaos upon request after event Facilitate engagement with non-member event attendees for membership recruitment Lead the execution of AmCham China’s internship program Work on other AmCham China initiatives that may be requested by management Requirements A bachelor / master degree from leading university essential, major in English or Business Administration preferred. Candidates with sound knowledge in business sustainability, China’s financial services and public policy sectors. Candidates with liberal arts education background are highly preferred Excellent Chinese and English proficiency a must, oral and written Excellent interpersonal and networking skills; strong team player Ability to work independently and without significant oversight Ability to work on many different tasks with similar deadlines and requirements Skills to work in a multi-cultural organization Demonstrated professionalism to engage with senior business executives and US and Chinese Government officials Computer proficiency, especially in MS programs Powered by JazzHR
