PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION: This role is responsible for preparing the right OTB plan, including the right discount and sell thru assumption, preparing the by category option plan and by door Framework for the buying team to prepare their seasonal buy. Also be responsible for in-season order tracking per OTB target. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Pre-Season Buying Planning Provide standard process and template across Buying team for Buying management. Develop buy plan (OTB) per store format, according to buying strategy, top-down financial target and historical performance. Conduct historical analysis in terms of buying structure and provide proposals for pre-season buying structures at door level. Develop store cluster proposal and distribution plan. Parter with Channel Ops to land OTB/Framework/Cluster plan. Monitor buying quantity vs. budget; reconcile buy plan to merchandise plan. System execution for buy planning in OMB TOOL. In-Season Tracking Ordering tracking to secure the pre-season buy plan and call out for potential risk. Maintain & Monitor compliance of pre-season buy and AP policy, as well as planning calendar. Post-Season Review Provide analysis and documentation for post-season review. KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Inline Buying, Value Range Buying, In Season Trading, Business Planning , FIN/Demand Planning etc. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Solid Data analysis skill Buy Planning or Merchandising experience Good interpersonal/communication skills Team player Practical, reactive Results oriented High execution ability and self-management REQUISITE EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILL University advanced degree 3-5 years’ experience in merchandising planning / buying function Good understanding of retail business. Prefer good Excel skills and ability to develop useful models/tools
