Job Duties and Responsibilities Technical support for group tooling localization; Including design review, pre-acceptance, buy-off and liaison with foreign sister factories. Conduct design evaluation, installation, modification, trial run and acceptance of new incoming tooling. Daily spot check of new tooling and make equipment standard operation specification. Set up and update tooling management documents, production line equipment, tooling code, inventory checking and keeping. Responsible for guiding die technicians’ tooling daily maintenance and improvement. Troubleshooting equipment, cause collection, establish and improve the prevention mechanism, ensure the equipment intact. Assist spare parts control & order for mass production tooling. Continuously improve die quality, specify and monitor die life, implement die improvement related to workshop production quality and pass rate. Responsible for die technicians’ tooling skills and safety training. Cooperate with other departments to carry out the work, other works signed by supervisor. Qualifications College or above, Major in Machinery or Tooling field. Skilled in both oral& written English, can communicate with foreign engineers fluently. At least 5 years working experience in stamping tooling design & fitting, experience in thin material precision progressive die area is a plus. Able to work independently under pressure with strong responsibility. Can read tooling& part drawing, familiar with grinder miller lathe etc. operation. Familiar with mechanical press, hydraulic press operation and principles.
