Position overview Are you interested in being part of a talented and dynamic team? allnex is inviting you to join our Composites business in position of Technical Service and Business Development Specialist in Shanghai, China to generate business growth of Composites within China and collaborate with NBD Lead to identify and commercialize new business. In this position, you will provide technical and application support to customers for new product introductions, quality and application issues. If you are someone with a can-do attitude, a firm understanding of current chemical best practices, join our team and make an impact together! Responsibilities Collaborate with NDB Lead and Sales team to drive new business development. Conduct technical presentations and advertising for consumers. Conduct market research for composite goods and applications to enhance industry expertise. Troubleshoot technical problems experienced by customers. Provide technical support for new product introductions and development. Perform application testing and evaluation of products and processes. Provide guidance to Technical and Production teams where applicable. Provide technical reports to customers regarding complaints or technical issues. Prepare monthly reports on activities and projects. Required skills and experience 5 years of experience as an industrial chemist or in technical services. Demonstrates practical experience with UPR/VE or gelcoats. Excellent knowledge of UPR Chemistry. Familiar with FRP composite materials. Proficient in spoken and written English. Good analytical, assertive and presentation skills. Strong research skills and methodology. Proficient in MS Office Applications. Strong customer focus. Proactive and entrepreneurial personality with strong focus on solutions, optimizations and improvements. Strong ability to organize, prioritize. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry or an equivalent qualifications.
