Mission : supplier process and product validation Manage the suppliers’ industrial processes and parts quality Ensure that the products key characteristics are well taken into account in the suppliers’ processes Validate and challenge suppliers’ Process FMEA and Control Plan implementation to secure the product quality Validate the supplier secondary master samples for the Go Prod milestone Ensure that the necessary series tests are in place in supplier premises Perform the processes audits to qualify supplier process consistency (repeatability, capabilities, conformity of means and products) , perform the suppliers’ capacity audit, analyse the potential issues during the supplier production preparation phase and support the suppliers in implementing the right processes in order to respect the products quality requirements Ensure that defect book is in place, committed by suppliers and agreed with Internal customer, clear know the supplier’s weakness and influence supplier to improve Validate the supplier production means and the critical FAI tier 2 components prior to Go Prod Ensure that the parts manufactured are compliant to specifications Manage Go Prod on time in full of CoE Interiors SPQD in remote Attend to Type tests execution when necessary Manage FAI Go on time with CoE Interiors SPQD in remote Ensure that all the contractual documentation requested to the suppliers is delivered and approved on time through the supplier quality portal Manage all the SPQD plan well by cover the different commodities including complex in high level with different supplier Ensure the right quality of the serial deliveries Ensure the 3 first deliveries in right quality level. When necessary, go in supplier premises and control all the parts to be delivered on projects before shipping, especially for the 1st batch. Get the waiver approved from customers in case of deviation or derogation prior to deliver Analyse the 8D of suppliers to challenge the supplier corrective action plans during serial production phase and ensure quick response from suppliers to follow up till all of them close Participate to the internal supplier performance assessment, lower supplier NCE/NCR and keeping stable after first three bathes and other physical inspection Specific quality spot audits upon request when quality crisis occurs In case of quality crisis, management of non-conformities with supplier with target dates, and review supplier performance (OIL, KPI) Promote Continuous Improvement Formalize the return of experience and share it with the team including Engineering. Share the best practises To maintain the SQP tool for SPQD job well and support supplier application of SQP as well. Self-development and qualification according the central qualification target. Provide training to suppliers for quality skills and management and monitor the result and implementation by suppliers. Social responsibility To secure that ALSTOM policies in terms of social responsibility (Environmental, health and safety, Child labor, ethics, …) are enforced at all suppliers’ sites To secure that all projects related employees operating tn supplier’s site do so in a hazard free environment.
