For VH, we're looking for you as a Purchasing Director. Purchasing Director Purchasing Director Responsibilities: Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Set up/Optimize the purchasing management policies and processes. Ensure availability of adequate and qualified suppliers in line with demand forecast. Identify and develop new suppliers to ensure a reliable and competitive supply chain. Develop and improve supplier capabilities and performance. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best possible pricing and payment terms. Analyze company purchasing costs and market trends to identify potential cost savings or areas for improvement. Define OTO and OTC sourcing strategy for OU projects, and support in cost estimation and review for OTO. Work with other functions to ensure on-time delivery of all materials and components. Daily purchasing team management: set up goals, enable and develop team members, strengthen team communication and collaboration, improve team efficiency. Ensure purchasing activities are compliant with company policies and procedures. Coordination with GBS Purchasing and global Purchasing functions. Requirements: Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Minimum 8 years work experiences of purchasing in manufacturing industry (Hydro Power industry preferred), with 3 years or above experiences in team management. E xperience of annual purchasing value 600M RMB or above. Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
