Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: Manage Labeling & Handling and SHAS related projects for Footwear in order to implement labeling and packaging solutions that meet the legal, logistical and marketing needs of subsidiaries and retailers, for all products and all brands (including licensing operations, as appropriate). Manage forecast and performance monitoring across divisions. Key Responsibilities: Manage the development and implementation of new labeling solutions to accommodate key account customers, new business, or system requirements in order to reduce complexity for regions on current labeling processes Act as a global project lead to create effective SHAS solutions by managing the end-to-end process (order placement, sourcing, and distribution) and set up and implementation of ILA systems together with sourcing and factories globally Manage forecast data and reporting to improve on time delivery performance from Label Providers (T-2s) to T1s across divisions Define the forecast requirements of Label Providers to facilitate their material and capacity planning Generate and distribute monthly forecast summary to Label Providers (T-2s) Drive performance monitoring of Label Providers (T-2s) across divisions Define KPI targets Monitor the monthly KPIs from Label Providers’ (T-2s) Lead monthly KPI review and improvement sessions with Label Providers and L&H team Work interactively with regions, subsidiaries / markets to define and implement: Labeling and packaging standards. SHAS (Special Handling At Source) and customized packing requirements (custom carton quantities, packing specifications, etc.). All customized logistics label requirements (does not include product labels such as sewn in labels) requiring the use of ILA; design/ develop labels in ILA. Design logistic labels in Codesoft. Handle special customization requests from key account vendors through analysis of current performance, to identify options to resolve label cartons, retail prices, customized labels etc and provide recommendations on process optimization against defined timelines. Manage SHAS cost process by conducting analysis, reviewing best practices and implementing roll out to create standard cost elements across brands in alignment with GPS to reduce costs. Work interactively with liaison offices, labeling and packaging providers (T-2s) and factories (T-1s) relative to SHAS, labeling, and packaging issues as well as providing solutions on reducing labeling lead time for regions. Manage and administer Global Labeling and Packaging manuals for all brands on Sharepoint through the creation, coordination, modification, training and insurance of data accuracy. Support projects and/or initiatives in order to improve the execution of existing tasks and to effectively handle changing business requirements. Key Relationships: Liaison Offices Tier-I and Tier-II suppliers Marketing Design Brand Design & Events Project Management Costing Transport & Logistics Regions & Subsidiaries Global Warehousing Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Knowledge of logistics’ computer applications, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Powerpoint, and MS-Access Ability to think end-to-end with a global mindset Very good organizational, analytical and administrative skills Proven interpersonal and communication skills, especially when interacting with different levels of business Proven experience in business analysis and prior involvement in the different stages of information gathering, analysis, recommendation and evaluation process Ability to work independently or with limited guidance Strong ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Knowledge, exposure, and interest in project management practices and development Good technical understanding of IT systems and ability to quickly adapt to adidas internal systems Fluent English (written and spoken) and other relevant languages (e.g. German, Mandarin), if required Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: A four-year degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of business administration or information technology Minimum of five years’ experience in planning or logistics, preferably with knowledge of the footwear, textiles industries
