Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organi z ation: The position takes the key responsibility of inventory deployment among main DCs and 3PL warehouses for business order fulfilment. The person plays a critical role in B2C sales analysis, product deployment, PO placement influence and STO execution for 3DC/EC 3PL. Drive and coordinate inventory deployment strategy implementation and adoption of the capabilities built to optimize inventory utilization, maximined sales opportunity with the lowest cost and lead time. Key Responsibilities: Perform all DCs including own DCs and 3PL DCs’ inventory deployment, design optimal performance solution to achieve the best trade-off between service level and cost, continues improvement to finetune current model. Perform deployment operation tasks in related system, according to DC storage and processing capacity and operations planning, aiming to optimise DC Operations to deliver products and service to customers based on agreed service level agreement. Understand both B2C and B2B business plan, business model and end to end process from range planning to product arrival. Play a critical role on behalf of supply chain to analyse consumer purchase behaviour against DC network setup, DC floor operation to define and propose deployment strategy as per buying plan from business team. Closely collaborate with x functions towards finalizing the deployment approach. Coordinate deployment activities from start to end. Respond to exceptional/urgent demand by setting up effective x-functional working process with clear R&R Assign the right DC to consumer locations at the lowest cost and still meet service level target, find the optimal mix of inventory for each DC, identify efficient model between initial allocation and replenishment, finetune regional study based on current network design to improve deployment efficiency as well as region cover region ratio. Maintain a working knowledge of relevant technology/systems that supports deployment and KPI reporting, provide properly structured input and feedback to IT and Systems regarding ongoing issues and further enhancement. Build and manage a capable and efficient working team. Set performance target with high standards, provide frequent coaching and feedback, proactively identify training and development needs, and drive continuous improvement of the planning team. Demand team’s in-depth understanding of end-to-end business process, to work together more effectively with other functions. Key Relationships: Product Supply Order Book Fulfilment DC Operations Transportation MOPs DP WHS/BP Own Retail E Commerce Finance IT Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Knowledge and experience DC planning and operation is required, Deployment and inventory management is preferred. Skill with an emphasis on communications both externally and internally across x functions. Must have strong analytical skills and logical thinking with paying high attention to details. Capable of performing multiple tasks under time constraints. Competency with MS Excel, Word, PPT, Power BI, MSTR and Project. Strategic, self-motivated, open-minded and ability to work independently and under pressure with minimal supervision. Knowledge and experience in DC planning and operation is required, demand planning or supply planning is desired. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in SCM/Logistics/Operation management. 3+ years of related experience in logistics (sportswear industry would be a plus) Solid planning/deployment experience. Familiar with BI system or other data analysis tool. Fluent communication in both English and Mandarin
