POSITION SUMMARY : Briefly state the objective of this position. Why the job exists (2-3 sentence maximum) • Contribution to ME strategy development in the relevant therapeutic area and product. • Communicate with cross-function to make sure alignment on Medical Education Strategy and Medical Education Projects . • Ensure succeed implementation of Medical Education events and programs in high- quality and high compliance way. • Responsible for budget tracking and adjustment to the relevant ME programs • Develop TA KOLs and build interactive strategic cooperation with the KOLs and professional associations. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES may include but no limited to: Define major accountabilities and/or activities. List most complex or difficult parts of job first and indicate percentage of time required to perform each task. % OF TIME Internal • Working with team to contribute for Medical Education strategy development. • Making alignment of professional education strategy, plans and activities within organizations. • Work with other Medical Functions to develop high-quality education content s for education events. • Responsible for budget tracking and reporting to the relevant ME events. Monitor timeline and manage project to conclusion and implementation. • Ensure all programs are following with regulatory, HCC, legal guidelines, and company policies. 40% External • Build the J&J reputation through high-qualified Medical Education programs. • Establish and manage an external network of agencies, associations, investigators, KOLs and physicians to further develop and implement the Medical Education strategy within the therapy area(s). • Continuously update the knowledge of disease management , products updates , latest developments of industry and best practices of relevant therapy areas and products 40% Administrative Activities • Allocate time appropriately to conduct responsibilities and tasks such as status reports, expense reports, etc. • Complete appraisal and provide appropriate developmental feedback for staff personnel. • Respond in a timely manner to internal and external customer requests. • Manage time and activities of self and staff to correspond with the annual planning calendar. • Effectively evaluate materials and programs from appropriate vendors and in-house departments. 20% Total 100% E DUCATION: Describe the minimum knowledge or educational requirements for the position. Include any degrees or certifications which are required and/or desirable. Required Desirable Subject or Major Associate's degree BA/BS Scientific/Medical or Marketing degree MA/MS/MBA Major in clinical medicine or pharmacy Doctorate Other: RELATED EXPERIENCE: Describe the types of experience and typical number of years required for this role. • Bachelor and above degree. Academic background with a scientific/medical or marketing degree is preferred. • 3-year above Pharm industry/business experience • 1-2 years or above of Marketing and/or medical experience in the relevant therapeutic area • A good understanding of the varying medical and marketing practices and perspectives across China , regional and overseas experience is a plus. • Good planning and tracking skills. • Strong oral and written communication skills. English writing and oral communication EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL INTERACTIONS : Describe the frequency and purpose/nature of external interactions with customers of J&J, other business-related contacts external to J&J, and other business-related contacts with employees of J&J. The role involves extensive interactions with : • Medical Affairs and all Medical Team leaders and members • Health Care Compliance and Legal team • BU team • China local Health Care Institutes and Health Care Professionals • China local Scientific Association • China local vendors PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS : Describe the extent to which the job must be performed under working conditions that are considered undesirable, potentially hazardous, require travel, or require absence from home overnight Domestic and International travels are required .
