Your Job As a Teamcenter Developer, you play a crucial role in advancing our digital capabilities by developing and enhancing Teamcenter software solutions to meet the dynamic needs of Molex employees. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain software solutions that optimize our operations and enhance user experiences. What You Will Do * Collaborate with the Digital Transformation Team to analyze business requirements and implement new applications and software changes in alignment with strategic objectives. * Develop and maintain technical specifications and applications using Java, C++, and other relevant programming languages, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. * Customize and configure Teamcenter software to meet specific business needs, leveraging tools such as BMIDE (Business Modeler Integrated Development Environment), Active workspace customizations using stylesheets. * Integrate Teamcenter solutions with ECAD & other systems, including T4S (Teamcenter for SAP) integration, to streamline data exchange and optimize workflows. * Participate in solution architecture design, including data modeling and configuration of BOM (Bill of Materials) structures within Teamcenter. * Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance meet user requirements. * Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for deployed applications, addressing issues and implementing enhancements as needed. * Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and ensure successful delivery of projects within established timelines. * Document development processes, technical specifications, and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure maintainability of solutions. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * 5+ years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter development and customization, with a strong focus on Teamcenter Unified Development. * Proficiency in Java and C++ programming languages, with experience in developing and maintaining Teamcenter solutions. * Solid understanding of Teamcenter architecture, BMIDE, Active workspace and BOM configuration. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. * Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket, Agile Scrum) is a plus. * Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successfully addressing complex technical challenges. What Will Put You Ahead * Experience with T4S or ECAD integration and other data exchange mechanisms between Teamcenter and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Opcenter, ECAD & MCAD). * Knowledge of ECAD applications Altium, Cadence Allegro would be preferable.
