We are searching for a PR and Social Media Coordinator to execute integrated PR and social media initiatives, supporting our company’s overall media strategy in APAC region. Your main responsibilities will include establishing media lists, pitching stories to the media, managing social media communities (Red & Weibo), and developing marketing communication plans to increase brand awareness, maintain a favorable public image of our brand, and draw in more clients/customers/users.This role will be in charge of ensuring that all media engagement activities are in line with the company’s overall marketing and branding strategies and reflect business and corporate priorities. This role will also help grow the brands awareness in APAC.To excel in this role, you should be a strategic thinker and boast excellent communication skills. Extensive working experience in PR and social media management for business purposes is a must, as well as a bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.Must speak Mandarin, preferably living in Los Angeles. Must be working proficiency bilingual in English and Mandarin. Social Develop, implement, and manage our brands Chinese social media strategy across WeChat, Weibo, Red and other relevant platforms. Expand and engage with our audience and potential clients on Chinese social media. Assist in marketing our services to Chinese clients and be a bridge between them and our sales team. Track the latest news and research on relevant topics in our industry in the Chinese world. Produce weekly/monthly campaign reports. Attract views and drive engagement by producing and editing original and meaningful content/articles for the company’s website(s) and social media channels. Translate documents from English to Mandarin to support marketing and business development efforts. Assist in the creative direction (creative brief, photoshoot & styling) and creation of contents for the managed platforms. Maintain social media calendar and deadlines. Provide reports for post-marketing initiatives (KPIs, metrics, insights, etc.) Ensure maximum engagement with KOLs on social media platforms PR Proactively generate PR leads and convert into sales Conduct research for proposals as the project requires Develop relations with media outlets in China Managing showroom / samples – tracking, shipping, organizing and keeping everything streamlined Assist and support on all Celebrity/KOL/editor gifting Submitting PR pulling and gifting orders and tracking Actively monitor celebrity, VIP and influencer seeding and help assist with status reporting Oversee PR events in China (Assist and ideate creative event concepting, planning, coordination, and activations) Support stylist, influencer, and editor appointments in showroom Database management, press clippings, online research, research and pitch ideas to target media Update all PR databases, assets, create image libraries/links for press and brainstorm and put together ideas for PR mailers and packages Powered by JazzHR
